Suvidya Celebrates its Institute Day

 

Suvidya College celebrated its Institutes Day on the 24th of October 2008 which is also the Foundation Day of the Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales. Rt. Rev. Ambrose Devados the Bishop of Thanjavur presided over the Holy Eucharist and delivered a meaningful message in which he advised the upcoming students of priesthood to seek for true wisdom to be effective ministers of the Gospel to the people. In his address the Chief Guest of the Day Shri A.C. Jose, Former Speaker of Kerala and Former Member of Parliament emphasized on the dual role of priests. He said that every priest should be a spiritual and social leader to the people.
